Science and Uncertainty

Concerns:
How do I give a good conclusion for the paper?
I have troubles giving a good conclusion for putting together everything i have researched in to a single paragraph
What does the conclusion have to do in for the paper?

  1. The way to approach the conclusion for the paper is to summaries your thesis. Make your argument clear and support your main argument with the main key points.

  2. The conclusion needs to wrap up the topic, talk about why the topic is important, and it doesn't have to be one paragraph. My intro's and conclusions are usually 2 paragraphs.

  3. basically just touch on all the arguments you have made throughout your paper and back up your claim again...

  4. The conclusion is giving your reader a summary of what your paper is about and where your opinion stands on the topic. It's almost like your intro paragraph but with more points in it on where you stand. You're writing your final statements on the paper with your conclusion, make sure they count!

  5. when writing your conclusion you have to make sure you have touched your thesis statement and re-writen it as a final summary tyinn up of all your main points.

  6. Think about what your paper is talking about. Did you present a problem or issue? If so, then where did your research lead? Basically, if there was a statement made, summarize your opinion or research and take a stand or pick a side. If the paper is not argumentitive at all, then reasure the reader of your point with a good final statment.

  7. Summing up main points is a good method, but to avoid repetition of your thesis and intro, you can also try applying your conclusions in a more broad way. For example, since yours is on science/religion, you can address the implications your conclusions have for the future of these fields or possibly how/why the views of this might change in the future.
