3 Questions about Research Paper

1. When I have an entire paragraph using one source and I already do the in-text citation once, is it necessary to include it with every sentence that I take from the source?

2. When we include our opinions are we supposed to keep it formal without literally stating "this is my opinion?"

3.

Adding more content

I have already used most of the main points I want to include in the research paper. But it seems not enough pages:
1. How can expand on the existing content without making the paper boring with details.
2. What can I add without diverting out of the main topic?
3. I also have some reservations on what is considered good writing - in this "Argumentative Research paper". The samples I have read differ so widely.
- Do I have to support and argue every point in each paragraph or just some, or the opposing points to my paper?

Science and Uncertainty

Concerns:
How do I give a good conclusion for the paper?
I have troubles giving a good conclusion for putting together everything i have researched in to a single paragraph
What does the conclusion have to do in for the paper?

Glass Bottle Reuse

1: My sources so far are mainly in support of reusing glass containers instead of producing throw away beverage containers and recycling. I am having trouble finding peer-reviewed sources that oppose a reuse infrastructure.

2: I tend to jump around a little bit with the narrative voice of my paper. I like to give personal examples, in first person, and then I tend to ask questions of my reader in second voice. I also take a third person narrative when explaining the legal processes.

3: I think it would be helpful to have a final review day on Tuesday and turn in the final copy on Thursday.

Final Countdown

The concern for my paper is having orignal thoughts and ideas? It seems everthing I write is scripted and my ideas on regulation of weapons go with society general thoughts.

At this point in time I dont feels as if i will have a problem with length but that never shows untill the night before its due!

Im also concernd that once this class is over I will not be able to go on! This was one of the best, most interesting classes i have ever taken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOS WITH ME ?

Final paper, questions and concerns

I think I am doing fine with this paper however I am not sure how I am doing as far as using all of my sources goes. Sometimes I feel like I am not using enough info in my paper. I am also having trouble with my transitions. I am finding myself stuck when it comes to incorporating vegetarianism and veganism into my paper so that it can connect well with my main subject and argument. I might be thinking too much into it but I will try to get more ideas on how to make my paper sound good without confusing my reader. I am also struggling on making my paper longer. It is 10 pages at this moment. When I go back and re read my paper it tends to sound a bit repetitive when I try to force 2 extra pages in! I need more ideas and I know I can add more research into the paper that will make it stronger and longer however, there is so much information on animal testing that it is over whelming.

problems with paper

For my paper right now it is now coming along because I have come up with a strong thesis. I still am having trouble with getting the full 12 pages that includes enough relevant research. I also think my paper is not so much sounding like a research paper but a history paper and I know I need to work on that as well.

Saucy

1. I am having trouble lengthening my paper without adding unnecessary fluff. I need help finding ideas to already in my paper that are not as expanded or in-depth as they could be.

2. Having trouble reaching the 12 sources, looking at about 8-10 right now.

3. What websites have access to academic journals?

Ghosts

1. I have more than 10-12 sources which I need to keep my paper the length it is...??
2. I might have have too much evidence for ghosts and not enough for the skeptic side, even though I am a skeptic.
3.???

Thesis Questions and Concerns

The uncertainties in my paper lie in 2 main areas:

1. Propositioning a good counter arguement after a main point. An example would be how in my paper, I talk about the language and harshness of the tone Andrew Jackson uses in the Indian Removal Act of 1830. I also talk about the bills ramifications towards Native Americans and how there is a huge anti-sematism towards them. The counter-argument that I offer is that both the Congress and President Jackson were very likely looking out for the Cherokee Indians' best interest.

2. Ending the paper. Unfortunately, I am unsure of how this paper will end. I have the culmination of all the events leading up to and into the Trail of Tears and the steady decline of American Politics into said event. I am wondering whether I could simply reiterate the main strong points of argument, refute main counter points, then simply conclude with my ending opinion.

Questions/Concerns About Paper

The topic of my argumentative research analysis is "Biocolonialism," i.e. the movement to create an international regime for intellectual property rights on the inner sanctums of life itself; my viewpoint is in support of the indigenous organizers who oppose this movement. (1) Because my subject is very complex, my paper is currently jammed with information about my topic. I am working to include more of my own analysis within the final draft; however, my rough draft is a bit too confusing, and I am concerned that I'm still struggling to find a balance within my paper. (2) Moreover, interwoven info about the various organizations (WTO, WIPO, UNPFII, IPCB and so on) and agreements/frameworks (CBD, UNDRIP, TRIPS, etc) that play a role in ongoing negotiations for my topic leave most people quite perplexed, so I am still trying to make the discussion on biocolonialism more accessible in my paper. How do I break it down in that way? (3) I need a stronger introduction to my paper. I always write my introduction last, but I would appreciate suggestions on how to create a strong introduction for an argumentative research analysis paper. Thanks.

questions on final paper

Here are some questions on this final paper:

For starters it is on genetically modified organisms... super dry and sciency topic, but how would I make it not so dry and sciency?

There are many instances where I need to define vocabulary so I can use the big words that come with the topic... It is a very complicated subject, and I feel like there is no way around that.

My other question is about my thesis. All I really say is that people should be more educated about the food that we eat. It is a bit broad, so I was told to "rework" it... would a better thesis, for this particular assignment, be that I think people should know more about the food we eat AND on top of that, I think that companys like Monsanto (a chemical herbicide company) should be banned from the market because of all the horror stories about our food production?

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

My paper is about plastic surgery and the risks it presents when it comes to surgery time. The concerns I have are trying to make sure my paper stays on topic and it flows really well.

1) How can I make sure that when I switch from one topic and go to the next one?

2) What are some organizational tools to help me make it flow?

?'s

My paper is not going to be 12 pages long and I've already used 12 sources AND I've analyzed the hell out of all 12 sources. My paper is going to start getting redundant.. Suggestions?

How do you cite the same source multiple times in one paragraph?

Concerns

A concern for my paper is about the balance of analysis and research. I have been consistent about analyzing but I am trying to find a balance so there is enough research and argument.
Another concern is using correct MLA style for my sources.
