Diet packaging

This is a genre because in these examples the texts are similiar in that they are extremely persuasive and give a sense of false hope. I choose my samples becauase these were the areas I thought of when diet packaging comes to mind. The rhetorical features that interested me most was the guarantees or claims of weightloss. Rules of the genre is the promise that you can be slimmer if you buy this product. You could replicate this genre but making false promises or break the rules by giving correct information about diet and excerise and leading to weight loss.
